1.
Wear a hair net of silk or satin textures to bed every night, this helps lock in some moisture and protect your hair from your pillow case and dry air. You can as well just change your pillowcases to silk or satin cases, or better yet, do both, so that if your net comes off at night, your hair is still safe, soft and moisturized.
2.
Spit hair into 4 sections. Apply the shampoo to the scalp. Use fingers to gently rub it to lift the dirt off of the scalp. Try using a soft and small baby toothbrush if you have a lot of product buildup from using greases, oils and growth aids. Band your four sections of hair once the dirt has been lifted off the scalp, ensuring that the braids remain in a downright position and do not mat during the washing process. Pour more diluted shampoo over your head. Squeeze sections of your braids to make the shampoo penetrate the braids and cleanse the hair inside. Rinse hair under water. Next, apply deep Squeeze hair to make it penetrates the braids. Rinse hair to remove all conditioners. Band braids until they about 50 percent dry. Remove bands, and gently finger detangle if you have loose ends.
